Smoked Onions are soft and sweet onions that are full of smoky rich flavor. Easy to make and always a hit with the family.

Ingredients
- 2 lb yellow onions
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
Instructions
- Peeled and cut root/tops of onions off
- Place onions on a piece of foil and drizzle with one tablespoon of olive oil.
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Add the onions to the smoker.
- Smoke for 1 hour on medium (225 degrees).
- Enclose in the foil and cook for about 2 hours until the onions are softened.
