Smoked Salmon Dip

Smoked Salmon Dip blends cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, capers, horseradish, lemon, dill, garlic, and hot sauce, finely combined with smoked salmon. The result is a smooth, creamy spread with a balance of smoky, tangy, and savory flavors. This dip serves well chilled alongside crackers or fresh vegetables as an appetizer.

Description

This dip uses a base of cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise for a rich and creamy texture. Ingredients like capers, lemon zest and juice, fresh dill, and minced garlic provide bright, tangy, and herbal accents. Horseradish offers a gentle heat that complements the smoky richness of the finely chopped smoked salmon incorporated near the end of food processing. A hint of hot sauce adds subtle spice without overpowering the other flavors.

The combination yields a smooth, spreadable dip with a balanced flavor profile showcasing the salmon's smokiness alongside fresh and piquant notes. Garnishing with additional salmon, capers, dill, and lemon slices enhances presentation and flavor contrast.

Serve this chilled dip with assorted crackers or raw vegetables for a refined appetizer or snack. It pairs well with lighter wines or sparkling beverages.
