Sourdough Chocolate Chip Cookies

Sourdough Chocolate Chip Cookies – my kids' favourite cookies EVER. The perfect recipe to use up some of your sourdough starter!

Ingredients
- 125 gms – ½ cup butter or vegetable spread softened
- 110 gms – ½ cup caster sugar
- 90 gms – 1/3 cup plus 2 tsp brown sugar very firmly packed
- ¾ tbsp vanilla extract
- 1 large egg
- 50 gms – 1 ¾ oz. sourdough starter
- ½ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- 250 gms – 1 cup plain flour
- 200 gms – 1 cup chocolate chips I use dark chocolate chunks, but feel free to use your favourite kind
Notes
- Once the cookies have cooled to room temperature, you can store them in an airtight container.
