Southwestern Tuna Wrap

This Southwestern Tuna Wrap blends canned white albacore tuna with diced yellow bell pepper, olives, cherry tomatoes, black beans, green onions, and fresh cilantro. A creamy yogurt-based dressing spiced with cumin, chili powder, hot sauce, and lime juice ties the ingredients together. Wrapped in warm corn tortillas, it offers a flavorful, textured meal option.

Description

The Southwestern Tuna Wrap uses pantry-friendly ingredients combined to create a vibrant filling. The tuna is mixed with chopped yellow bell pepper, olives, quartered cherry tomatoes, black beans, green onions, and chopped cilantro, delivering crunchy, creamy, and fresh elements. The dressing, made from plain Greek yogurt with spices like cumin, chili powder, black pepper, hot sauce, and lime juice, adds tang and a gentle kick.

After assembling, the filling is rolled inside corn tortillas, providing a soft, slightly sweet wrap vessel that complements the savory and spicy filling. The recipe suits a casual lunch or light dinner, with bright flavors and balanced textures.

The ingredients are mostly uncooked except for the beans and tuna, keeping preparation straightforward and quick. Serving the wraps warmed enhances the tenderness and flavors of the filling and tortilla.
