Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons tomato sauce canned
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ½ tablespoon rice vinegar unseasoned
  • 1 small garlic peeled and minced or pressed through a garlic press, clove
  • ½ teaspoon chili powder
  • ½ teaspoon hot sauce such as Louisiana hot sauce
  • 1 teaspoon oregano you need about 1 sprig (6-inch length) for that, fresh, finely chopped
  • ½ tablespoon olive oil mild

Instructions

  1. Whisk all ingredients together until smooth.
  2. Keep refrigerated until ready to use.

Notes

  • *Chili powder is a spice blend usually made from ground chili peppers, cumin, oregano, dried garlic and salt. Use mild or medium, depending on how spicy you would like the sauce.
  • **You can substitute ½ teaspoon dried oregano.
