Spicy Garlic Grilled Chicken
Description
This recipe features chicken breast cutlets marinated in a mixture including mayonnaise, yellow mustard, lime juice, garlic, chili garlic sauce, sriracha, black pepper, and optional honey and cilantro. The mayonnaise acts as a tenderizer and base, while the chili sauces provide heat and depth. The lime juice adds acidity to brighten the flavors.
Marinating for at least 30 minutes, up to 24 hours, allows the flavors to penetrate the chicken. Grilling over medium-high heat for about 7 minutes cooks the chicken with occasional flipping to ensure even grilling and retain juiciness. Garnishing with fresh herbs adds freshness to the spicy profile.
The marinade can also be reserved and served as a dipping sauce, adding extra moistness and flavor to the plated chicken. This grilled chicken pairs well with vegetables, salads, or as protein in sandwiches or wraps.
