Spicy Pulled Pork Fried Eggs
Description
In this recipe, eggs are gently fried in bacon grease, which adds a rich, smoky background flavor. Pulled pork and sliced jalapeños are added to the pan early during cooking, allowing the flavors to meld as the eggs finish cooking. The texture includes tender eggs with spots of savory pork and a touch of heat from the jalapeños.
Once cooked, the eggs are plated and garnished with sliced green onions and a dash of hot sauce, which enhances the spiciness and freshness. Salt and black pepper complete the seasoning. This dish serves well as a hearty breakfast or brunch item.
The recipe uses bacon grease for best flavor, but other fats like ghee or avocado oil can be substituted. The pulled pork provides a protein boost and meaty richness that pairs nicely with the eggs and heat.
