Spicy Ramen Noodles Recipe

This Spicy Ramen Noodles recipe combines a savory broth with a mix of chili sauces and aromatics like serrano peppers, garlic, and fresh ginger. The broth simmers to develop depth before noodles and shrimp are cooked right in it, resulting in a spicy, flavorful bowl with tender noodles and cooked shrimp. Fresh garnishes like soft-boiled eggs and chopped parsley add freshness and texture to balance the heat and richness.

Description

Spicy Ramen Noodles Recipe starts with a broth enriched by the heat of serrano peppers, the pungency of garlic, and the brightness of ginger. Gochujang paste and chili crisp bring fermented chili flavors and a layer of spicy oil, along with sambal oelek and sriracha which add varied chili heat. Soy sauce and sesame oil contribute saltiness and nuttiness, while rice wine vinegar brightens the broth. The noodles soften directly in the simmering broth with peeled shrimp, absorbing the spicy flavors while cooking.

The final bowl is garnished with soft boiled eggs, freshly chopped parsley, green onions, red pepper flakes, and sesame seeds giving each bite a combination of textures from the creamy egg to the crunchy seeds and fresh herbs. This recipe yields a rich, spicy soup ideal for those who enjoy deep chili flavors and a mix of tender seafood with noodles.

Try serving this ramen bowl fresh, as the shrimp and noodles are best eaten soon after cooking. Adjust chili levels by substituting jalapenos for serranos for a milder flavor. The inclusion of shrimp is flexible and can be replaced with other cooked proteins as desired.
