Ingredients
- 15.25 ounce box white cake mix about 3 cups
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- ¼ teaspon Kelly green gel food coloring
- 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 6 tablespoons powdered sugar
Instructions
- Add the cake mix, oil, and eggs to a large bowl. Stir together with a spatula until it comes together into a sticky dough.
- Add green food coloring. Mix until the food coloring is evenly distributed.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
- Add the granulated to a small bowl.
- Add the powdered sugar in a separate small bowl.
- Using a 1 tablespoon cookie scoop, scoop the dough and roll into balls between your hands.
- Place the cookie dough in the granulated sugar and roll around until completely coated.
- Next, add the cookie dough ball in the powdered sugar and roll around until completely coated.
- Place on lined cookie sheet about 2 inches apart from each other.
- Place in the oven and bake for 9 to 12 minutes. Let cool for 5 minutes on the cookie sheet and then transfer to a paper towel or wire rack.
- Store in an airtight container.
