Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte

The Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte recipe features a homemade pumpkin spice syrup infused with cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and pumpkin. Combined with rich espresso and warm frothed milk, it recreates the iconic autumn drink at home. The addition of whipped cream and a sprinkle of nutmeg enhances its creamy, spiced flavor, making it a warm and comforting espresso beverage for fall mornings or cozy afternoons.

Description

The Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte combines a specially prepared pumpkin spice syrup with bold espresso and frothy milk. The syrup is simmered with ground nutmeg, cinnamon sticks or ground cinnamon, fresh or ground ginger, sugar, and canned pumpkin, which layers in distinct autumn spices and natural pumpkin flavor. Once diluted into espresso and topped with warm frothed milk, the latte offers a smooth, creamy texture punctuated by warm seasonal spices. A final touch of whipped cream and ground nutmeg adds richness and aromatic spice.

This latte is prepared by simmering the spices to extract their flavors into water, then infusing the mixture with sugar and pumpkin to create a thick syrup. Adding this to freshly brewed espresso and carefully poured frothed milk results in a balanced drink that highlights pumpkin and spice notes without overpowering the coffee base. It can be enjoyed at home as a treat during cooler months or when craving a coffeehouse-style beverage.
