Ingredients

Servings
  • 1 flatbread Flatout brand
  • 3 tablespoon cream cheese whipped
  • ¼ cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 3 tablespoon gorgonzola crumbled
  • 3 oz sirloin steak thinly sliced, leftover, cooked
  • ½ pear thinly sliced
  • ¼ cup arugula
  • balsamic glaze for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Pre-bake the flatbread for 2 minutes.
  2. Then spread cream cheese on flatbread followed by shredded mozzarella and crumbled gorgonzola. Place pears and steak on top of cheese. Bake for an additional 5 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Remove the flatbread from the oven, top with arugula and drizzle balsamic glaze on top. Enjoy immediately.

Notes

  • Steak - Any cut of leftover steak will work for this recipe. Just remember that if you use a steak that has been marinated in a seasoning it may change the flavors of the flatbread.
  • Flatbread - You can find pre-baked prepared flatbreads in the deli area at your local grocery store. The flatbreads are typically mixed in with the wraps near an end-cap.
  • Balsamic Glaze - Balsamic glaze differs from traditional balsamic vinegar. The glaze is much thicker then traditional vinegar, and tends to be a little bit on the sweeter side. You can find a small bottle in the oil and vinegar section of the store.
  • Quantity - This recipe only makes 1 flatbread; however, you can easily double, triple, or even quadruple this recipe.
