Strawberry Cheesecake French Toast Roll Ups
Description
This recipe transforms ordinary bread into a dessert-like roll up using cream cheese and strawberry jam as a filling. After removing crusts and flattening the bread, spreading softened cream cheese and jam creates a creamy, fruity center. Rolling the bread around the filling shapes each portion, which is then dipped in an egg mixture flavored with vanilla and cinnamon to add warmth and aroma.
Cooking occurs in a buttered skillet over medium heat to achieve golden browning on all sides while fully cooking the egg coating. The final product is a soft yet slightly crisp roll with a rich, creamy interior and sweet strawberry flavor.
Serving suggestions include garnishing with powdered sugar and fresh strawberries for added freshness and sweetness. The roll ups can be made ahead and refrigerated, reheated gently, or frozen for future use, offering convenient options for enjoying this treat.
