Strawberry Overnight Oats

Strawberry Overnight Oats combine chia seeds, old fashioned oats, almond milk, and vanilla extract soaked overnight to create a creamy, slightly textured breakfast. Freeze-dried or fresh strawberries add a bright fruit flavor and a bit of chew to the mix. Preparing in individual jars makes this a convenient and portable option that can be customized with extra milk before serving.

Description

This recipe layers chia seeds and rolled oats in mason jars before adding almond milk and vanilla extract, allowing the mixture to soak in the fridge for 4 to 24 hours. The chia seeds thicken the liquid into a pudding-like consistency while the oats soften but retain some bite. Freeze-dried or fresh strawberries on top contribute fruity brightness and color.

The portioned jars make for easy meal prep and the oats can be customized by adding more milk before eating if a thinner texture is desired. The simplicity of ingredients and hands-off soaking method provide a nutritious breakfast or snack with natural sweetness and texture contrast.
