Stuffing-Topped Pork Chops
Description
This recipe seasons boneless pork chops with salt, pepper, and onion powder then browns them quickly in oil over medium-high heat to seal in flavor. The chops are arranged in a baking dish topped with prepared pork stuffing mix as a flavorful crust. A simple sauce of cream of mushroom soup and milk is poured over the chops, providing moisture and richness during baking. Covered with foil, the dish bakes at 350°F until the pork is tender and cooked through.
The stuffing topping adds texture and herbaceous notes while the creamy mushroom sauce keeps the meat juicy. Removing the foil towards the end can help achieve a lightly browned surface on the stuffing. This dish pairs well with vegetables and is practical for a hearty family meal.
