  • 1/2 cup cornmeal 2 tablespoons
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 egg large
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 4 tablespoons butter melted and slightly cooled

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit 
  2. Grease an 8x8" square baking pan
  3. In a bowl, mix the flours, baking powder, salt, and sugar
  4. Add the eggs and mix with a wooden spoon
  5. Finally, add the melted butter and cream. Mix well with a wooden spoon
  6. Pour the batter the prepared baking pan
  7. Bake for 45 to 60 minutes or until browned on top
  8. Remove from oven. Let the cornbread cool a bit before unmolding
  9. Unmold and cut into squares
  10. Serve hot, warm, or cold
  11. Enjoy!
