Superfood Energy Balls

Superfood Energy Balls are formed from a blend of oats, almond butter, ground flaxseed, dried berry mix, and sweetened with dates and maple syrup. These bite-sized snacks offer a chewy and nutty texture with a mild sweetness and warming cinnamon hint. They provide a convenient and nutritious option for a quick energy boost or healthy snack throughout the day.

Description

The Superfood Energy Balls recipe combines old fashioned oats, almond butter, ground flaxseed, a berry mix of dried fruit, pitted Medjool dates, maple syrup, and cinnamon. The dates, almond butter, and maple syrup are processed together to form a sticky mixture that binds the dry ingredients. Mixing in the oats, flaxseed, dried berries, and cinnamon adds a textured, wholesome element with natural sweetness and nuttiness. The balls are rolled to about one inch in diameter, making them easy to grab and enjoy.

The final texture is chewy and slightly coarse from the oats and flaxseed, while the dried berries provide bursts of sweet tartness. The cinnamon adds mild warmth that balances the other flavors. These energy balls are designed for storing refrigerated or frozen in an airtight container, making them suitable for ready-to-eat snacks on busy days or pre/post workout energy support.
