TGI Friday’s Nine Layer Dip

TGI Friday’s Nine Layer Dip is a rich, layered appetizer featuring cooked bacon with refried beans as a warm base, then topped with layers of sour cream mixed with taco seasoning, cheddar cheese, guacamole, tomatoes, cilantro, black olives, and green onions. The layering creates a colorful and flavorful dip perfect for scooping with tortilla chips. The bacon adds crispness and smoky flavor to balance the creamy and fresh ingredients.

Description

This layered dip begins with frying chopped bacon until crisp, then heating refried beans in the bacon drippings to infuse flavor. A sour cream mixture with taco seasoning is spread over the beans, followed by shredded cheddar cheese, creamy guacamole, diced tomatoes, fresh cilantro, sliced black olives, and green onions, with extra cheese sprinkled on top. The assembly creates a diverse mix of textures and flavors, from smoky and savory to fresh and creamy. It is served chilled or room temperature alongside tortilla chips for easy sharing and dipping.
