Description

THEE BEST Grilled Shrimp recipe begins by seasoning jumbo peeled and deveined shrimp with salt and pepper, then marinating them for an hour in a blend of olive oil, red wine vinegar, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, fresh lemon juice, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. This marination imparts layers of bright, tangy, and umami flavors that penetrate the shrimp.

The shrimp are threaded onto skewers and grilled over medium-high heat for approximately two minutes per side. This quick cooking creates a slightly charred exterior while keeping the shrimp tender and moist inside. The variety of acidic and savory marinade ingredients balance each other well, enhancing the shrimp’s natural sweetness and texture.

This preparation works as a straightforward grilled seafood option suitable for serving with rice, salads, or crusty bread. The marinade’s composition allows for a depth of flavor that elevates simple shrimp without complicating the cooking process. Marinating for at least an hour ensures the flavors are well absorbed before grilling.
