Vanilla Orange Overnight Oats

Vanilla Orange Overnight Oats blend rolled oats with almond milk, vanilla protein powder, vanilla, and a hint of orange zest, thickened with chia seeds and topped with pecans for crunch. The oats absorb the liquids overnight, leaving a creamy, nourishing breakfast that's ready to enjoy. The subtle citrus notes complement the vanilla and oatmeal, offering a fresh start to the day with balanced textures from creamy oats and crunchy nuts.

Description

This Vanilla Orange Overnight Oats recipe combines rolled oats with almond milk, vanilla protein powder, a splash of vanilla extract, chia seeds, and a dash of cinnamon. The mixture is stirred, sealed, and refrigerated overnight to allow the oats to soak and absorb the liquids, resulting in a creamy and thick texture by morning. Adding a little almond milk before serving can adjust thickness to preference. Chopped pecans sprinkled on top add a contrasting crunch, while optional orange zest brightens the overall flavor profile with a subtle citrus aroma and taste.

This preparation requires no cooking and can be a convenient grab-and-go breakfast or snack. The inclusion of protein powder makes the dish more filling, and the combination of dairy-free milk, oats, and fruit flavors supports a balanced, wholesome meal without added sugars. The chia seeds also help thicken and add a nutritional boost.

Ingredients

Servings
  • 1 cup Trop50
  • 1 vanilla protein powder scoop
  • 1 cup rolled oats old fashioned
  • 1 cup almond milk unsweetened
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 Tablespoon chia seeds
  • cinnamon dash
  • 1 Tablespoon pecans chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon orange zest optional

Instructions

  1. Prep oats: Place all ingredients in a container except chopped pecans and orange zest. Stir until well combined. Seal with a lid and place in the fridge overnight (or at least a couple hours).
  2. Serve: Bring out of the fridge in the morning and stir. You'll notice that the oats soak up a lot of the liquid so you may want to add a little more almond milk before serving. Top oats with chopped pecans and orange zest.
