Watermelon And Mango Salad

Watermelon and Mango Salad combines juicy cubes of watermelon and mango tossed with fresh lime juice, black salt, black pepper, and chopped coriander. This fresh fruit salad has a light, tangy flavor with hints of spice and herbaceous notes. It offers a refreshing side or appetizer, especially paired with spicy meals or grilled dishes. Optional seeds or nuts add textural contrast.

Description

The Watermelon and Mango Salad blends sweet, ripe watermelon and mango cut into cubes with fresh lime juice, which adds brightness and acidity. The salad is seasoned with black salt and freshly cracked black pepper to enhance the fruit's natural flavors and introduce a subtle savory edge. Chopped fresh coriander adds a citrusy herb note balancing the sweetness.

This salad offers a mix of juicy texture from the fruits and a refreshing balance of sweet, tart, and slightly spicy elements from the seasonings. Optional additions like seeds or nuts can provide a crunchy contrast to the soft fruit cubes.

It can be served as a light appetizer or side dish, particularly alongside spicy or grilled dishes, helping to cleanse the palate. If preparing in advance, seasoning with salt and pepper should be done just before serving to maintain the fruits’ freshness and texture.
