Watermelon Sangria Recipe
Description
The Watermelon Sangria Recipe combines freshly blended and strained watermelon juice with Moscato wine, vodka, and triple sec, creating a light alcoholic beverage. Adding sliced lime and orange provides subtle acidity and citrus aroma that complements the sweetness of the watermelon and wine. The mixture is chilled for several hours to allow flavors to meld and enhance refreshment.
Served cold, this sangria features smooth and fruity layers without strong alcoholic bite, making it approachable and enjoyable. The use of fresh watermelon rather than syrup or concentrate preserves the natural flavor and hydration quality of the drink. Suitable as a summer cocktail or party drink, it offers a balance of sweet, citrus, and light spirit notes.
