Whipped Feta Dip

Greek Feta Dip is an excellent starter for any occasion! Made with 4 ingredients and a few spices, this recipe is simple to make!

Ingredients

Servings
  • 8 oz. feta cheese crumbled, 2 cups
  • ½ cup yogurt plain, Greek
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice , freshly squeezed
  • kosher salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste

Garnishes

  • ½ cup cherry tomato chopped
  • 1 tablespoon capers
  • olive oil , for drizzling
  • dill fresh fronds

Dippers

  • Pita chips
  • carrot sticks
  • celery
  • cucumber mini slices
  • vegetable like sugar snap peas and bell pepper slices, raw

Instructions

  1. Combine the 8 oz. (2 cups) crumbled feta cheese, ½ cup plain Greek yogurt, 2 tablespoons olive oil and 1 tablespoon lemon juice in the base of a food processor or a blender.
  2. Blend until combined. If you want the dip to be smoother, blend until smooth.
  3. Taste and season with Kosher salt and black pepper, if desired.
  4. If the dip is too bitter for you, consider adding ½ teaspoon of honey to balance it out. (Add it to taste, so add a little, taste, then add more if desired.)
  5. Pour into a serving bowl.
  6. Garnish with the chopped tomatoes and capers. Drizzle with olive oil and add fresh dill for display, then enjoy with your favorite dippers!
