Za'atar Seasoning

A traditional Middle Eastern spice, this Za'atar seasoning is herby, nutty, and savory. The sesame seeds give a little texture, and make this seasoning perfect for rubs, marinades, or as a topping on your hummus!

Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons sumac
- 3 tablespoons dried thyme
- 2 tablespoons Sesame seeds, toasted
- 2 tablespoons dried oregano
- 1 tablespoon Coriander
- 1 teaspoon marjoram
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt

Instructions
- In a small sauce pan, toast the sesame seeds for 1 to 2 minutes over medium heat. Toast until slightly golden, then cool the sesame seeds before mixing with the other spices.
- Add all of the ingredients in a small bowl and whisk until combined .
- Store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
