10 Minute Spicy Ramen

10 Minute Spicy Ramen offers quick-cooked ramen noodles tossed in a savory, spicy sauce made with sesame oil, soy sauce, garlic, chili flakes, and brown sugar. The white part of green onions is sautéed for added aroma and flavor, while garnishing with the green part provides freshness. This recipe is a simple yet bold-flavored noodle dish with a balanced spicy and savory profile.

Description

The 10 Minute Spicy Ramen recipe starts by boiling ramen noodles until tender but not overcooked. The seasoning packet is discarded to allow full control over flavors. A sauce combining soy sauce and brown sugar creates a balanced umami and sweetness, while chili flakes provide heat.

Sesame oil is heated to sauté minced garlic and the white part of green onions, enhancing the aromatic foundation for the sauce. Adding a bit of reserved noodle cooking water helps the sauce cling smoothly to the noodles. The noodles are then tossed gently in the sauce to coat evenly with the spicy mixture.

Serving garnished with thinly chopped green onion tops adds crispness and a mild onion flavor. This ramen makes a convenient, flavorful meal for a quick lunch or dinner when fresh ingredients are limited but a satisfying spicy dish is desired.
