Instructions

  1. Grease and line a 20cm square (8") pan with butter or cooking spray and parchment paper and set aside.
  2. Put the peanut butter and frosting together in a bowl and mix to combine. The texture will get firmer as you mix, with the texture of the fudge resembling play dough (Play-Doh) when it's ready.
  3. Press the fudge mixture into a greased and lined pan, flatten with a silicone spatula to smooth the top and place in the refrigerator to set.

Notes

  • Honestly, this fudge can be eaten pretty much straight away as soon as it's combined. You will literally see it firm up as you mix it. The texture gets a little firmer in the refrigerator.
  • I found smooth peanut butter works best for this recipe rather than the crunchy kind.
  • The size of the container you put the fudge in can vary from what I have used, it will just turn out thicker or thinner. A baking pan or a loaf pan are both good ideas, plus you could also use a plastic container to set it in too.
  • Greasing and lining the pan with parchment paper is still important for this recipe even though it's a no bake dessert. This will help you get the fudge out of the pan or baking dish once it's set.
  • I recommend lining your pan with parchment or baking paper because it's stronger than foil and less likely to tear when you lift it out.
