Ingredients
- 12 ounces asparagus ends trimmed
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons sesame seeds
- ¼ teaspoon sea salt
Instructions
- Wash and trim your asparagus and place them in a wide and shallow dish. Add the lemon juice, sesame seeds, and salt, and gently toss them to evenly coat the spears.
- Transfer the seasoned asparagus to your air frying basket (or toaster oven tray) and air fry at 400 degrees F (205 degrees C) for 6-8 minutes until golden brown.

Notes
- Choose asparagus spears that are firm to the touch and stand up straight. The tips should be closed and deep in colour. You'll want to trim the tough/hard ends of your asparagus where the green is turning to white.
- Watch carefully towards the end of cooking and do not overcook. Overcooked asparagus can get stringy in texture.
- Leftovers can be kept in the refrigerator in a sealed container for 3-4 days. They taste great cold or reheated. Or use the leftovers to chop into salads.
