Air Fryer Easter Cupcakes

We combined our favourite air fryer cupcakes recipe with some green buttercream, along with lots of easter decorations for the ultimate aior fryer easter cupcakes.

  • 1 Batch Air Fryer Cupcakes
  • 1 Batch Thermomix Buttercream
  • 2 creme eggs
  • 2 caramel eggs
  • 100 g mini eggs
  • green food coloring

Instructions

  1. Follow our air fryer cupcakes recipe and cook the cupcakes for 12 minutes at 160c/320f.
  2. When the air fryer beeps, remove them from the air fryer, allow the air fryer to cool and then do your final cupcakes. Depending on the air fryer you have, will depend on the batches needed, we did two batches as we can fit only 8 in our air fryer basket at once.
  3. Whilst the cupcakes are cooling prepare your buttercream. For our Easter theme we have added green food colouring. I recommend adding in a tiny bit at a time to make sure you don’t add too much.
  4. Also freeze your crème and caramel eggs for about 30-60 minutes to allow them to harden up. Then slice them in half.
  5. Load the buttercream into a piping bag and pipe the tops of the cupcakes with your green icing.
  6. Then decorate the cupcakes. We added either a egg half or a mix of mini eggs to the top of each.

Notes

  • Quantity. Half the ingredients and make 6 Easter cupcakes instead of 12. Or mix and match so if you would rather make ones with just mini eggs you can do that!
