Air Fryer French Toast

French toast doesn’t get any better than air fryer French toast. You can prep it fast and then load into the air fryer basket with our easy to follow air fryer method and top tips.

Ingredients
- 5 Slices Stale Warburtons Farmhouse Bread
- 2 large eggs
- 180 ml semi skimmed milk
- 1 Tsp vanilla essence
- 1 Tsp cinnamon
- Pinch of nutmeg
- extra virgin olive oil spray
- icing sugar optional

Instructions
- Crack your eggs into a bowl and mix with a fork. Then add in your milk and seasonings and mix well.
- Load a slice of bread into the bowl (one at a time) and coat on each side.
- Prepare your air fryer by spraying with extra virgin olive oil and then brushing with a pastry brush.
- Load egg soaked bread into the air fryer basket and cook for 4 minutes at 180c/360f.
- Flip the bread and cook for another 4 minutes at the same temperature on the other side.
- Then sprinkle with icing sugar before serving.
Notes
- Quantity. The ingredients above, made enough for 5 slices of air fryer French toast.
- Swaps. The greatest thing about French toast in the air fryer is you can mix and match
- seasonings. Such as pumpkin spice for Halloween and ground ginger for Christmas.
- Sugar. Icing sugar = known as confectioners’ sugar in the USA. It adds a lovely sweet texture to your French toast.
