Instructions
- Place the eggs into the air fryer basket and air fry at 120c/250f for 16 minutes.
- Place the eggs into a cold bowl of water to cool enough for you and the kids to handle. This usually takes about 20-25 minutes.
- Add food colouring to separate bowls. We did blue, red, green and orange. Then add enough water to half fill the bowl. Then stir with a spoon.
- Submerge the eggs into the different coloured pots and allow them to sit for 30 minutes to absorb the colour.
- Place the dyed brown eggs into egg cartons and place in the fridge for at least an hour. The eggs are now done for the kids to play with.
Notes
- Duck. You can also follow this recipe and use duck eggs instead. This will give you the dream white colour and make colouring the eggs so much easier.
