Air Fryer Pizza Hut Cookie Dough
Description
The Air Fryer Pizza Hut Cookie Dough features a mix of flours, sugars, fats, and sweeteners blended to a light, fluffy batter, incorporating cocoa powder and vanilla for depth. Chocolate pieces or chips add texture and richness, while Smarties introduce color. Cooking in a greased, floured pan prevents sticking and allows the dough to cook evenly in the air fryer at moderate temperature, resulting in a warm, soft interior similar to a baked cookie but faster and without an oven. The cocoa and honey contribute subtle moisture and flavor complexity.
The final product serves as a soft, chewy cookie cake that can be eaten immediately after air frying. You might slice it like a pizza or serve it warm with ice cream or cream. Adjusting cook time can firm up the cookie for more classic textures, making it a versatile sweet treat for snack or dessert.
The recipe notes include suggestions for substituting different types of chocolate, adding or omitting Smarties, and extending cook time for a firmer "monster cookie" form. These pointers provide flexibility to suit your preferences and yield varied textures and appearances.
Ingredients
Kitchen Gadgets:
- Air Fryer
- Air Fryer Pizza Pan
- Hand mixer
Cookie Dough Ingredients:
- 260 g self-raising flour
- 40 g coconut sugar
- 80 g brown sugar
- 150 g butter
- 4 Tbsp honey
- 3 Tbsp milk whole
- 1 Tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 Tsp vanilla essence
- 100 g chocolate chips
- 32 g Smarties
Instructions
- Place your butter and sugars into a mixing bowl and using a hand mixer mix your fat into your sugars. Do this until it is well mixed and is light and fluffy. Add the flour, honey, milk, cocoa powder, and vanilla and mix well with a fork.
- Add in your favourite chocolate. Any chocolate chunks or chips will do the trick and mix. I also added in some smarties too.
- Spray your pizza cake pan with extra virgin olive oil and then add flour and tap the sides and bottom with flour. This will stop your hot cookie dough from sticking to the pizza pan.
- Add your cookie dough into the pizza pan and load the pizza pan into the air fryer basket.
- Set the time to 10 minutes and the temperature to 160c/320f. Serve while warm.
Notes
- You can use any preferred type of chocolate chunks or chips instead of Dairy Milk chocolate.
- Adding Smarties is optional; they add color similar to a Monster Cookie.
- Cooking the cookie dough an additional 3 minutes in the air fryer results in a firmer, giant monster cookie texture.
