Avocado Chocolate Truffles

This easy vegan chocolate truffles recipe is the secret to make a sweet treat that can be actually good for you.

Ingredients

  • 1 avocado ripe
  • 5 oz dark chocolate 72% cacao
  • 2 tablespoon brown sugar optional
  • sea salt optional, flakes
  • 2 ½ tablespoon Dutch cocoa powder unsweetened
  • chili powder optional, a pinch

Instructions

  1. Peel the avocado and blend in a food processor until completely smooth .
  2. Melt the chocolate in either the microwave or on the stove. Allow to cool.
  3. Add in the mashed avocado, brown sugar, salt, and 1½ tablespoon of the cocoa powder.
  4. Mix until all combined.
  5. Place the truffle mixture in the freezer for 10-15 mins and let cool until quite set.
  6. Use a small ice cream scooper and form balls with your hands.
  7. Roll in the remaining cocoa powder. Shake off the cocoa in excess and serve.
