Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. Rinse the boneless country-style pork ribs and pat them dry with paper towels. Season both sides with a pinch of salt and black pepper.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the barbecue sauce, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder. Stir well to create a flavorful barbecue sauce.
  4. Place the boneless country-style ribs in a large ovenproof dish or a baking pan. Pour the barbecue sauce mixture over the ribs, ensuring they are evenly coated.
  5. Cover the dish with aluminum foil or a lid. Bake in the preheated oven for 2 to 2.5 hours. The ribs should become tender and fully cooked during this time.
  6. After the first hour of baking, remove the foil or lid and baste the ribs with the sauce from the bottom of the dish. Repeat this process every 30 minutes until the ribs are done. This helps infuse them with the barbecue flavor and ensures they stay moist.
  7. To check if the ribs are done, use a meat thermometer. They should reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C). If the ribs are not done yet, continue baking and basting as needed.
  8. If you prefer your ribs to have crispy edges, you can place them under the broiler for a few minutes at the end of cooking, but keep a close eye on them to prevent burning.
  9. Once the ribs are done, remove them from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute and the ribs to firm up slightly.
  10. Serve your delicious Baked BBQ Boneless Country Style Ribs hot, with extra barbecue sauce for dipping if desired. They pair wonderfully with coleslaw, baked beans, cornbread, or your favorite side dishes.
