Bicho De Pe Recipe

This is a simple Brazilian recipe for bicho de pe also known as strawberry brigadier that is quick to prepare and makes a wonderful treat and snack.

Ingredients

Servings
  • 300 grams sweetened condensed milk 1 can
  • 15 grams butter unsalted or margarine
  • 20 grams strawberry gelatin
  • 60 grams granulated sugar optional, or crystal sugar

Instructions

  1. Place the condensed milk, butter, and strawberry gelatin in a pot and boil, stirring with a spatula or wooden spoon until it comes off the bottom of the pot. Set aside to cool.
  2. Once cooled shape them into golf size balls with your hands, you can grease your hands with butter or margarine to help with the stickiness, then roll them into crystal sugar and place them into muffin
  3. Serve and Enjoy!
