Ingredients
- 1 medium head butter lettuce 14 ounces or 400g
- 1 cup (240ml) sour cream
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
- salt to taste
- 1/2 English cucumber optional
- 8 radishes optional
- 2 tablespoons chopped dill
- 2 tablespoons chopped chives
Instructions
- Cut radishes into thin slices. Dice the cucumber, sprinkle with salt, and let stand for 10 minutes.
- Wash the lettuce thoroughly, leaf by leaf, and discard damaged outer leaves.
- Dry the lettuce, either in a salad spinner or by hand with a kitchen towel. It´s important that the lettuce is dry.
- In a medium bowl, combine sour cream, sugar, and lemon juice.
- Place the cleaned and dried lettuce in a very large bowl. Season lightly with salt.
- Squeeze out excess water from the cucumber. Add cucumber, radishes, chopped dill, and chives to the lettuce.
- Add the dressing, toss until evenly combined.
