Christmas Chex Mix Recipe with M&Ms
Description
The Christmas Chex Mix recipe blends Rice Chex cereal with mini pretzels and peanuts for a crunchy base. Melted white chocolate and coconut oil coat the mix evenly, binding the ingredients together while adding a creamy sweetness. Powdered sugar is tossed in to provide a light, sweet dusting. Mini marshmallows add softness and chew, while festive M&Ms bring colorful chocolate bursts. After mixing, the mixture is spread on a baking sheet to cool and solidify, creating a balanced texture of crispy, chewy, and creamy elements.
This snack is well suited for holiday parties, casual snacking, or as a seasonal gift. It can be served as is or dressed up with additional Christmas-themed sprinkles for visual appeal. The combination of salty and sweet caters to varied tastes, while the white chocolate enhances its richness and festivity.
Store the mix in an airtight container at room temperature to maintain crunchiness for up to five days. Cooling thoroughly before serving ensures the coating sets correctly without clumping.
