Ingredients
- 1 package Oreo’s or Golden Oreo’s
- 24 ounces White Almond Bark
- 12 ounces red candy melts
- 12 ounces green candy melts
- red and green sprinkles
- Cake pop sticks
- coconut oil optional but recommended
Instructions
- Get out and measure your ingredients.
- In a microwavable bowl place half of the almond bark in it and microwave in 30 second intervals. Stir almond bark and place back in the microwave for an additional 30 seconds. Do this until almond bark has completely melted.
- In a small microwavable bowl repeat process from above with the red and green candy melts. With candy melts I strongly suggest adding 1 teaspoon of coconut oil, this will help make the candy melts smooth when melted.
- Place a parchment sheet, or wax paper on counter or baking sheet to set dipped Oreo's on.
- Dip Oreo’s one by one into the melted chocolate or almond bark.
- Use tongs to grab the Oreo’s from the melted chocolate.
- Dip in whatever color you'd prefer.
- Place on parchment paper.
- Splatter or drizzle melted chocolate over the top of each Oreo to make them fun and festive.
- Splatter or drizzle a different color of chocolate over the top to make them more fun and festive.
- Sprinkle red and green sprinkles over dipped Oreos.
- Let dipped Oreo’s rest for 1 hour before storing in a sealed container.
Make Oreo Pop
- Seperate one cookie from the side of the Oreo cookie or in other words, undo the Oreo sandwich.
- Add a drop of melted chocolate.
- Place Oreo cookie back into position and allow to dry for an hour before dipping in melted chocolate of your choice and decorating.
- Serve.
- Enjoy every bite!
Notes
- Adding coconut oil to the candy melts helps melt the candy evenly andmaking sure it is nice and smooth when it reaches a certain temperature.
- Use tongs or a fork to dip the Oreo’s, using your hands will make a hugemess.
