Instructions
Make labaneh dip overnight
- Lay out two layers of cheesecloth over a strainer, and pour the yogurt into it. Tie the yogurt in the cheesecloth, creating a little sack that can be hung up. Hang cheesecloth with yogurt to dry over a sink for at least eight hours, and up to 24 hours.
Flavour labaneh dip
- Add ½ teaspoon of cinnamon and ¼ teaspoon of salt to your freshly made homemade labaneh. Mix well to incorporate.
Dress crackers
- Smear about a teaspoon of labaneh dip on your favourite crackers. Top each cracker with two or three thin slices of apple.
- Finish off with salt, a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and a pinch more cinnamon.

Notes
- You can use gluten-free crackers to make this snack gluten-free. If looking for a completely grain-free version, use an apple circle as the base and top the labaneh and cinnamon on it.
- For a dairy-free, vegan version, use cashew cheese.
