- 1 1/2 1 1/2 cups self-rising flour
- 1 1 cup cornmeal
- 1 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
- 1/2 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 2 2 cups buttermilk
- 2 2 eggs
- 1/4 1/4 cup butter melted

- Preheat waffle iron. Spray with nonstick cooking spray.
- Whisk together flour, cornmeal, sugar, and salt. Stir in buttermilk, eggs, and melted butter until well-combined and smooth. Cook in batches on preheated waffle iron. Remove from waffle iron and keep warm.
