Curry Rub for Chicken Breast

Makes about 6 ½ tablespoons of dry rub. Use 4 teaspoons per 8 ounces of chicken breast. This rub is great on both skinless and skin-on chicken breast.

Ingredients

  • 2 ½ tablespoons yellow curry powder
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon cumin ground
  • 1 ½ teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¾ teaspoon ground allspice

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a bowl or jar and mix together until well combined.
  2. Store this mix in an airtight container in the kitchen pantry. It will keep for at least six months.

Notes

  • How to use it: Pat chicken breast dry using paper towels, then rub with a little bit of vegetable oil. Sprinkle the dry rub on, then bake or grill the chicken.
