Dark Chocolate Avocado Pudding—Vegan and Keto
Description
The Dark Chocolate Avocado Pudding uses ripe avocados combined with cocoa powder and coconut milk to create a velvety texture distinctive among chocolate desserts. The natural fats from the avocado contribute to the creaminess, while the coconut milk adds moisture and richness. A variety of sweeteners, including stevia extract and low-carb sweetener, balance the bitterness of the dark cocoa. Vanilla and salt round out the flavor profile.
Preparation involves blending all ingredients in a food processor until smooth. You can serve it right away for a pudding texture, or chill it in the refrigerator for at least an hour to thicken into a mousse. Garnishes like whipped cream, coconut cream, or chocolate nibs can add texture contrast but are optional.
This dessert is flexible for those following vegan or keto diets, using dairy-free milk alternatives and avoiding added sugars. It can be served as a snack or a light dessert that combines healthy fats with chocolate intensity.
