Easy Cherry Clafoutis

A light, custard-like baked dessert featuring sweet cherries suspended in a silky vanilla batter. Simple to make yet elegant enough for guests, this French-inspired treat is perfect served warm or chilled with a dusting of powdered sugar.

Ingredients

  • 500 g Cherry
  • 4 egg
  • 100 g sugar
  • 150 ml milk
  • 150 ml cream 20-35%
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 80 g flour
  • 10 g butter for greasing the pan

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (360°F).
  2. Grease a 22–24 cm (8–9 inch) round baking dish with butter and lightly dust it with flour.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk the eggs, sugar, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Add flour and mix until smooth.
  5. Gradually pour in the milk and cream, mixing until the batter is fully blended.
