This delicious chocolate hummus is a creamy, high-protein snack disguised as the perfect dessert! A healthy appetizer that can satisfy a sweet tooth and please any chocolate lover!

Ingredients
- 1.5 cups chickpeas 15 oz can
- ⅓ cup cocoa powder
- ¼ cup Tahini
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons All-Natural Peanut Butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoon water optional if needed
- 2 tablespoons chopped or shaved dark chocolate optional garnish

Instructions
- In the bowl of a food processor, add the chickpeas, cocoa powder, tahini, honey, peanut butter, vanilla extract, and salt.
- Mix 3-4 minutes until smooth, scraping down the sides of the bowl a few times.
- If the hummus is too thick, add a tablespoon of water and blend again until desired consistency.
- Adjust the flavors if desired. Add more honey, cocoa powder, or salt if desired.
- Garnish with shaved or chopped chocolate if you'd like when serving.
- Serve with favorite crackers, pretzels or strawberries.
Notes
- Use maple syrup instead of honey if you'd like.
- Use a higher cocoa content, 70% or higher
- Substitute the peanut butter with almond butter or sun butter.
- Store leftover hummus in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
- Freeze for up to 2 months.
