This chocolate sauce can be served over brownies, ice cream, or cakes. Variations include omitting sugar for a less sweet version, adding a pinch of salt to enhance flavor, or incorporating a splash of spirits like rum, Baileys, or Disaronno for an adult twist. Ingredients
- 125 ml single cream
- 25 g butter
- 0.5 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon caster sugar
- 60 g chocolate milk
Instructions
- Put 125 ml Single cream, 25 g Butter, 0.5 teaspoon Vanilla extract and 1 tablespoon Caster sugar into a saucepan.
- Gently heat for 3-4 minutes.
- Add 60 g Chocolate.
- Stir until the chocolate has melted.
Notes
- Add a pinch of salt to deepen the sauce's flavor if desired.
- For a lower-sugar sauce, omit the caster sugar.
- This sauce is excellent poured over homemade brownies to add richness.
