Easy Christmas Truffles (3 ingredients only!)

These Easy Christmas Truffles require just three main ingredients: sweetened condensed milk, ground cookies, and unsweetened cocoa powder. The mixture is heated to create a smooth, chocolate-like base before folding in crushed cookies. After chilling, the mixture is shaped into balls and coated with nuts, coconut, or sprinkles for added texture. The truffles have a rich, dense texture and a balanced cocoa flavor, making them a simple holiday treat.

Description

The recipe blends sweetened condensed milk and cocoa powder over low heat to achieve a silky chocolate base, to which ground cookies are incorporated evenly. Refrigerator chilling firms up the mixture, allowing it to be rolled into uniform balls. Optional flavorings such as alcohol or vanilla extracts can be added to personalize the flavor. Coatings like nuts, coconut, or sprinkles provide contrasting texture and visual appeal. Stored in the fridge, these truffles maintain their shape and flavor for up to 7 to 10 days.

The truffles make an easy-to-prepare holiday confection that requires no baking and can be customized with different coatings or extracts. They are suitable for gift-giving or festive gatherings.
