Easy Italian Ground Sausage and Vegetables

Italian Sausage and Vegetables are one of my favorite ground sausage recipes. It’s loaded with ground sausage, colorful veggies, and full of flavor!

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil divided
- 20 ounces Italian sausages sliced
- 1 red onion sliced
- 1 red bell pepper sliced
- 1 green bell pepper sliced
- 1 yellow bell pepper sliced
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat add 1 tablespoon olive oil.
- Once hot, add sliced sausages and cook until it’s nicely browned. Remove from the pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, add the rest of the olive oil. Then add the sliced onions and bell peppers.
- Cook for a few minutes until slightly soft.
- Add the garlic, oregano, basil, chicken broth, and salt to taste. Return the sausage back to the pan and cook until the sausage is completely cooked through. Serve and enjoy!
