Easy Valentine Cookies

Report
Easy Valentine Cookies assemble cereal, pretzels, mini marshmallows, white chocolate, and candy into no-bake cookie clusters. The mixture combines crunchy berry-flavored Cheerios, salty pretzels, and sweet M&M’s held together by a soft coating of melted white chocolate and marshmallows. Once chilled, the cookies firm up for a textured treat perfect for Valentine’s Day sharing or festive snacking.

Description

These Easy Valentine Cookies blend berry-flavored Cheerios, mini pretzels, Valentine-themed M&M’s, softened mini marshmallows, and melted white chocolate to create chewy, crunchy cookie clusters without baking. The marshmallows are gently heated just until soft but not fully melted, maintaining a slightly chewy texture that helps bind the other ingredients coated with smooth white chocolate.

The combination yields a texture contrast between crunchy cereal and pretzels with the chewy marshmallows and creamy white chocolate. The berry-flavored Cheerios and M&M’s add bursts of fruity and chocolaty sweetness, making the cookies visually themed and flavorful.

The mixture is scooped onto parchment-lined baking sheets and chilled to set the clusters before serving. Stored in airtight containers, the cookies keep best refrigerated, which also helps maintain their shape and freshness.

Ingredients

Servings
  • 12 oz white chocolate 1 bag
  • 1 ½ cups mini marshmallows
  • 2 cups Cheerios cereal berry flavor
  • 1 cup pretzels mini
  • ½ cup M&M's candy Valentine's variety

Instructions

  1. Heat a small sauce pan to low-medium heat. Immediately add white chocolate chips. Stir constantly to prevent burning.
  2. Next, pour in mini marshmallows. You can do this in the same sauce pot. If your pot isn't large enough, pour the marshmallows into a mixing bowl and then drizzle the white chocolate over them. Fold together until marshmallows are covered. NOTE: The marshmallows are supposed to be almost whole, not melted.
  3. Then, crush the pretzels a bit and stir into the sauce pot along with the Berry Cheerios and M&M's.
  4. Stir until all of the ingredients are covered in the marshmallow & white chocolate mixture. NOTE: The texture is supposed to be a little runny. We want them to kind of flood out on the pan like an avalanche.
  5. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Make sure the baking sheet is small enough to fit in the refrigerator. We'll chill the cookies prior to serving.
  6. Using a cookie scooper, scoop cookies onto baking sheet. If you don't have a cookie scooper, you can also use a spoon.
  7. Top each cookie with a few more Valentine's M&Ms. Then, put in the refrigerator for 5-10 minutes or until each cookie has hardened.
  8. Serve chilled. You can also allow them to come to room temperature again. You won’t lose a tooth on them if you eat them chilled, rest assured!

Notes

  • Store finished cookies in an airtight container in the refrigerator for best freshness.
  • Constantly stir white chocolate while melting to prevent burning or seizing.
  • If white chocolate seizes, whisk in a tablespoon of water gently to attempt loosening.
