Ingredients

  • 350 gms all-purpose flour 0.75 lb. - 2 4/5 cups
  • 100 gms sugar plus more to coat, ½ cup
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 7 gms dry yeast 2.5 tsp
  • 80 ml water lukewarn, 1/3 cup
  • 200 ml coconut milk 6.75 oz
  • vegetable oil I use sunflower oil, for deep frying

Notes

  • Make sure the oil is at 170°C – 340°F. If the temperature is lower your Firi Firi will become soggy and if it is higher, they will burn and will not cook inside!
