Ingredients
Strawberry Cobbler Filling
- 4 cups fresh strawberries
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 3 tbsp corn starch
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
Cobbler Topping
- 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour cold
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter very cold
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup buttermilk cold
- 3 tbsp granulated sugar for the topping

Instructions
Cobbler Filling
- Clean and slice strawberries into bite sized pieces. Place them in a bowl with the remaining filling ingredients. Stir to combine, set aside.
Cobbler Topping
- In a medium size bowl mix all of the dry ingredients.
- Grate or cut butter into the dry ingredients. Combine until the mixture is crumbly.
- In a separate dish, combine buttermilk with the vanilla extract. Pour the buttermilk mixture into the dry ingredients. Stir to combine everything together.
- Place strawberry filling on the bottom of a 9 inch pan.
- Place 6-8 spoonfuls of dough on top. Sprinkle with sugar.
- Bake at 375°F for 35-40 minutes or until the top is golden brown. Serve immediately with your favorite ice cream.
