Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and prepare a muffin pan with cupcake liners.
  2. Mix up the cake batter according to package directions, then scoop into your prepared cupcake pan.
  3. Bake cupcakes at 350°F for 21 minutes (or box directions).
  4. Remove from oven and carefully take the cupcakes out of the pan to cool.
  5. Once cool, remove liners and crumble the cake into a mixing bowl.
  6. Add 1/2 Tablespoon frosting to the crumbled cake and mix.
  7. Continue adding frosting as needed until you have a thick dough-like consistency.
  8. Form dough into balls, using about 1 Tablespoon of batter for each.
  9. Continue until all cake mix is formed into balls. If making cake pops, add sticks now.
  10. Place cake balls onto a plate and into the freezer for 30 minutes until set.
  11. While cake freezes, prepare the white chocolate.

  14. Place cake balls back onto plate or cookie sheet to dry.
  15. While the chocolate coating is still wet, add confetti sprinkles to the top of the cake balls.
  16. Repeat until all cake balls are covered in chocolate or sprinkles.
  17. Allow chcoolate to set fully.
