Fruit Chaat

Fruit Chaat combines a variety of diced fresh fruits such as apple, pear, kiwi, banana, mandarin, strawberries, grapes, and pomegranate seeds dressed in a spiced lemon and chaat masala dressing. The result is a tangy, sweet, and subtly spicy fruit salad with refreshing textures and bright flavors, enhanced by optional mint garnish.

Description

This Fruit Chaat includes multiple fresh fruits diced into bite-sized pieces to create a colorful, textured mix. The dressing blends freshly squeezed lemon juice with honey or sugar, traditional chaat masala, roasted cumin powder, kashmiri chili powder for mild heat, and black salt or regular salt to season. Tossing the fruits gently with this dressing imparts layers of tangy, sweet, and savory spice characteristic of chaat.

The salad is chilled briefly to allow flavors to meld while keeping the fruit crisp and fresh. Optional garnishing with chopped mint adds a fragrant, cool contrast to the spiced dressing.

Fruit Chaat is served as a light, refreshing salad or snack that balances sweetness and savory spices, ideal for warm weather or as an accompaniment to meals.
